YOUR HOME IS LISTED. NOW WHAT?

Your home is now listed and buyers will soon be asking to take a look!  It’s very important you keep your home clean at all times because showings can be requested at a moment’s notice.  You can always decline them, but we’ve found that many buyers do not come back to view the home if it’s declined once.  They simply find another house.  Make it a point to allow any and all showings!

  • Keep house clean.
  • Keep curtains and blinds open to allow the sun in.
  • Turn on all lights and lamps.
  • Leave a little note on the counter if you choose and write a letter about what you’ll miss about your house/location/etc.
  • Leave candies or treats for the buyers, if you’d like.
  • Turn on Scentsy or air freshener.
  • Have pets stay with a family member during showings. There is nothing worse than a dog barking through an entire showing!  Buyers will rush through your home.

If you are unsure what to do, just let us know. We'd be happy to help!
