Rachel was born in Des Moines and raised on a farm near Perry, Iowa. Her love of basketball led her to the University of Northern Iowa to play for the Panthers. Both her BA and MA came from UNI in the fields of exercise science and exercise physiology. After working as a wellness specialist and personal trainer for 7 years, she fell in love with real estate and decided to join her husband as a Realtor. Since then, she has earned her Broker's license and became a teacher for the Iowa Association of Realtors. She truly enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion with her colleagues!
Her love of providing quality service has produced many happy clients ranging from first time home buyers to empty nesters. Rachel's knowledge of both resale transactions and the new construction process is an asset for any buyer or seller. She uses her creativity and organization to enhance the experience for anyone working with the Scheib Real Estate Team. Rachel started the group the “Green Runners” in 2012 which is a community project geared towards litter removal and wellness during the summer months. In her spare time, you can find Rachel spending time with her family of five children, jogging, cleaning her house (she is a neat freak), researching anything she finds interesting, freelance writing for the local newspaper, coaching, playing sports, listening to music and attending local concerts.
